Spring Intramural Season commence's play 3/31/2012.
The Chiefs Spring season will commence this weekend. Schedules are in the process of being finalized and will be posted to the website mid-week. Your coaches will also email you to introduce themselves and also provide you with a practice schedule. Our Little Chiefs, (Pre-k) Kindergarten and 1st grade programs will play on Saturdays at George Washington Elementary School. The 2nd through 4th grade program will play on either Saturday or Sunday at Eagle Avenue School. The club is also offering a training session with professional trainers every Monday night at 5:00PM at George Washington Elementary School starting on Monday April 2nd. The cost of the training program is $35 for the season and is available for players in the first grade and above. Reminder: there are no games and training scheduled for the weekend of 4/7 due to Easter weekend/spring break.
Also, a uniform sale will be held on Friday 3/29/2012 at George Washington Elementary School from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Please contact jd@whchiefs.com for more information. The cost of the uniform is $40 and includes a reversible jersey, shorts and 2 pairs of socks, (1 red and 1 white).

West Hempstead High School Concussion Workshop
Please save the date
On Thursday, April 26th, at 7:30 p.m. in West Hempstead High School auditorium there will be a free workshop for any parent or coach who would like to attend. The workshop will be given by a certified athletic trainer in regard to concussions. She will discuss the following:what is a concussion, the signs and symptoms, and when a student should be cleared to return to play. At the end of the workshop there will be a question and answer session.

As you know our coach's are all volunteers and we have provided them with their player rosters and contact information.
But with the start of school and other activities it is sometimes hard to get in touch with everyone.
Well be proactive you can login and find out your coach's information from our website. In addition you will be able to find out what team your player is on and view the schedule listed posted on the left of the website.
