U10 and U11 Boys and girls (Registration is required).

U10 Players are those players who are going into the 4th Grade this coming fall 2009 or are born between 8/1/2000 and 7/31/2001.
U11 Players are those players who are going into the 5th Grade this coming fall 2009 or are born between 8/1/1999 and 7/31/2000
The U10 teams will be required to play both a Travel and Intramural schedule in the Fall season so that our older intramural program does not suffer.
The U10 teams will not enter any cup competitions or in season tournaments during the fall 2009 season.

Travel tryouts will be held the week of June 15th and be conducted by DV Soccer Academy.
You will be emailed the specific time and location once you are registered.
You must be attend the tryout to be considered for the team.
Girls UXX Team XXXXXXXXX
Travel team tryouts for the Teamname UXX girl’s team
will be held at the Eagle Avenue large field
on Friday, June ## from #:## pm to #:## pm.
Eligible candidates will be in the #th grade in September and/or are born between 8/1/97 and 7/31/98. Wear cleats, shin guards and your intramural red jersey if you have one. Bring a copy of your birth certificate and a water bottle. Arrive at the field 15 minutes prior to the start time to register.
Travel team participation requires a greater level of commitment than the intramural program. The Firebirds will practice at least twice a week and have a game every Saturday beginning September 12, rain or shine. Members are required to attend all practices and games. A week long summer camp is an additional part of team training. Teams also participate in tournaments and fund raising.

Travel team costs are expected to be as follows:
Registration fee: $150.00/per season, fall and spring
Uniform: $80.00 (approx.)
Summer Camp: $135.00
Training fees: $50.00 (approx.) per season

Players should be between the ages of 9/1/1997 - 8/31/1998.
All players must wear cleats, shinguards and bring ball and water.
If you are an older player and would like to find out if there is availability to tryout on existing West Hempstead Chiefs teams please email Steve Salmon at soccer1120@optonline.net. There are club and LIJSL rules on what team’s players are able to play on.

Before you sign up, that commitment is not only to yourself and your
family, but to all your other teammates and coaches. Practices will now become
mandatory. Games can't be missed because each game will not only effect
your standings for the current season, but where you are placed by Long Island
Soccer in the next season.
